Read an interview with Fred about his trading card art at Barren Aaron's Garbage Pail Kids Reference Guide.
Fred began designing parody trading cards and stickers for The Topps Company in February 2006. To date, his concepts have been the basis for finished art in three Wacky Packages sets (including collaborations with his talented wife, Renee Davis); two Garbage Pail Kids series; and Hollywood Zombies. His roughs have been turned into final paintings by illustrators such as John Pound, David Gross, John Zeleznik, Brent Engstrom, Layron DeJarnette, Claude St. Aubin, Mark Sparacio, and Hermann Meija. Fred has also painted four of his own designs for Topps.
Fred designed three cards in this set, published December 2007.

Fred submitted these ideas to Topps, but they were not accepted.
| Wacky Title | Real Product | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Carbuncle Ben's | Uncle Ben's | Rejected from series 4, at least in part because Topps believed that kids would not know what a "carbuncle" is. The product was parodied as "Uncle Bone's" in series 5. |
| Peepsi | Pepsi | A little too weird. Dave Gross's "Popsi" was used in series 5, and Fred's "Quiet Pupsi" design appeared in series 6. |
| Germy Pale Kids | Garbage Pail Kids | "Germy" was in the running for a while, until Dave Gross's superior "Garbage Pail Geezers" was accepted for series 5. |
| Homely Bunches of Goats | Honey Bunches of Oats | There was already a goat-themed cereal title in series 4, so this never went anywhere. |
